...on Standing Taller

I've been trying to determine how I'd sum up my feelings about our sweet prophet since his passing, and came up with nothing. Until this evening, when I created the following.
I hope I can stand tall enough to be within the reach of his influence again one day.

1 Slacker + 2 Psychos = 3 Boys

Kyle is the real deal when it comes to couch potatoes. The funniest aspect of this picture: he didn't so much as FLINCH as I was snapping away.
He and Diego need some time away from each other ASAP.

Bret and Tate, on the other hand, found me and DDR at 6:00 this morning and wanted to join in.
So, when their lunches were made, breakfast was eaten, backpacks were ready - I gave in and let them "workout" with me.
We had a fine dance off...wherein Tate whipped my touche, as usual.
That kid's got some moves...
And, in the words of one of my favorite primary kids:
I know that President "Beehinckley" is a true prophet too, and we'll miss him.

digi-me

Can I just say: I just love digital. Everything about it. I have more digital devices than I do kitchen knives.
So. I've been a sufficient slacker when it comes to scrapbooking for about the past..oh....8 years. You may remember THIS post from last summer when I made an effort to create some digital pages. If I ever decide to take it up again, there's comfort in knowing that digitally - I could catch up in about 4.
Well, tomorrow morning, I'm teaching a Photoshop class at Kari's "The Scrapbook Den" So I've been fiddling this evening... and came up with some samples.
These took about 3 minutes each. Oh yeah - and the kits = FREE.

...of newlyweds, nail-biters and ZANTAC 150

That was my weekend.
you're jealous, right?

Newlyweds consisted of the wedding picture wrap-up (edits and uploading) which is now done and in addition to the one below, Kim's and my pictures can be seen

Nail-biters included B&T's first high-scoring (?) basketball game which ended in overtime (For 9 year olds?) at 13 -11. Ours was the 11, but was a well-played game with some good effort put forth by all of those smelly boys.

AND
Kyle's choking incident as I set up chairs for Primary. A lifesaver (duh...Kerrianne). He threw up all over me and the first 2 seats in Valiant 10's row.
ZANTAC became necessary at 3:30 AM when I was finishing/rendering/burning a 20-minute marketing DVD that needed to be done this morning by 8:00 AM.
Monday it is: Bring on the car-decluttering, laundry sorting, headache relieving JOY.

the plea of the fiber-hater

Dear Dad...

I'm sorry I don't eat fruits and vegatables. It's just It's just I feel like I was born not liking fruits and vegatables. and It's just that you put me under a lot of pressure.

love,
Tate
